The flexible design enables the differentiated assignment of authorizations across various levels. For example, an administrator has rights at the organizational level, while an employee has access to a specific site. The end customer, on the other hand, can view their own system using a read-only user account.

Monitoring the SIP lines

The providers’ SIP lines are checked every 15 seconds. If a SIP line goes offline, an alarm is triggered on the alarm dashboard and the status is displayed directly in the corresponding diagram on the respective host. This alarm can be configured as a push notification via the Pushover app for Android and iPhone

End device monitoring

The end device overview is updated every 15 seconds and provides detailed information on the number of online and offline peers. An alarm message can also be configured for this area on the alarm dashboard.

Data carrier monitoring

Comprehensive monitoring must include the monitoring of hard disks and the storage used, which is why these are also integrated into our monitoring. Within the settings, you can individually configure which hard disks are included in the monitoring. It is also possible to define the memory consumption at which an alarm is triggered. These alarms can be communicated both on the alarm dashboard and via other alarm channels.

Lifetime and backup monitoring

In the system overview, users can call up the current operating status of the system and determine whether it is online or offline. Information is also provided on the backup status and any error messages. Technical details such as the operating system used and the software version are also displayed. The host names and IP addresses displayed also serve as direct links to the system, provided you are in the same network or the host name is accessible.

In the ‘Peers’ tab, in addition to ‘End device monitoring’, all telephones are displayed with their names, IP addresses and status. IFMC forwarding can also be viewed. These forwardings can be hidden by clicking on a button, as IFMC is not included in the diagram due to the lack of a status.
